Cyber addiction is when you lose control and become overly dependent to the extent of neglecting other important stuff like study/work & time spent with family/friends.

eg; so one example of situation when students face the issue is when they are so addicted to gaming that they spend an unhealthy amount of time gaming that they neglect schoolwork.

It is important for students to be able to handle as it concerns the issue of time management. With prolong gaming will result in students decrease in social skills as they are practically living in a virtual world most of time.

With each addiction, there will be withdrawal symptoms. Thus, they may have the feeling that they cannot live without being online and they will become restless and they will not be able to concentrate on their studies as they will keep on thinking of being online/playing games. Since gamers normally play with their friends, their friends may eventually become addicted too.

Once they got themselves addicted, they will become easily addicted to many other things in the future. They may start to not know their limits and it may lead to addiction to substances or even gambling. As for the issue on addiction to gambling, it is important educate the importance and value of money. Therefore prolong online gambling might result in heavy debts as well as resulting in a wrong perception of money.
