What's up ya'll..
Well looks like most of you have pretty much commented on all there is to say in regards of the availability and usage of the ICT in your posts which i guess will eventually reach the same objective. So.. I guess for now I shall just be BRUTALLY honest about my views, reflection and experience.
For me, I'm not really a big fan of technology. Call it old school. :p Lappys, the venture of softwares, networking and etc have never been my interest. (however surprising i do love psps and podcasting). Back in uniform days, the last time i could remember going to a computer lab was when i was in primary 2 when we had to practice the keyboard skills. ugh! Technically i guess i currently own a laptop because i have to? However.. even as a design student, if given a choice i would rather do things the traditional way of pencil and paper. I guess i've held on to the theme 'Back To Basics' for far too long. :p
However as much as i know about majority of the latest technological updates(thanks to my annoying younger brother), i figured that being aware of the availability of a certain technology and practicing it is two separate issues. Therefore being pretty raw at this, i definitely have alot to learn along the way and this course will somehow be productive as i will consider it as a form of self improvisation when it comes to interactivity, basically to par with the younger generation when all these breathes life to them.
What i already know..
I'm aware of the existence of ICT and briefly its objective.
What I want to learn..
How to incorporate its application in order to lead to an enriched execution when conducting a lesson.
What I learned this week..
A better understanding of why ICT is being utilized in schools.
Mindmeister - it's pretty cool and productive actually.
What questions i still have..
It's not too late for me to start right? :((
In response to your question: It is never too late as long as you are in the right place.
