I was absent during session 3 however from my friends' recap, the topic for that lesson was about lesson planning. Correct me if I’m wrong but on a general basis I assume that lesson plans are initiated intentional schedules prepared for students weekly and most importantly, emphasizing on the benefits of the learning processes for the students upon activity.
Since my comfort zone when coaching a class has always been through drawing demonstration and sharing of relevant information, I have never really integrated the use of ICT into my lesson plans. Week after week, I’m beginning to get impressed with the stuffs and knowledge that Dr. Tan shares with us and most importantly the relevance of his activities pedagogically.
In session 4, I had my group presentation. It kind of messed up on my part as i got a mental block and i could not deliver what ive revised. It maybe due to stage fright and partly it's because my life is overwhelmed with personal issues that uninvitingly crept and intruded my concentration. However, I'm proud of my team mates on their effort and doing quite a commendable job considering we are the first two groups attempting.
Im quite impressed with the game, effort and deliverables that Group One had came up with entitled "Fitter Critters". It is quite interactive, educational and very "child's play". I believe that it would be a good approach for young kids and I found myself learning quite a bit about healthy lifestyle and nutritional value from their presentation. :)
