Safety and security can be defined as one of the many basic expectations in our daily life. When associating it with the cyber world, the weight of risk is definitely a concerning factor as confidential information or privacy may be abused if one is not careful.

Even common cases like credit card fraud or online predators lurking around for the wrong reasons in chat rooms are inevitable to adults or professionals, let alone inexperienced teenagers.Teenagers always falls into such traps to such treacherous beings due to their naivety and vulnerability. They'll put their guard down especially when their feelings are overwhelmingly in control.

Besides being monitored, it is crucial to shed light upon students/teenagers to be more aware about the dangers of the dark cyber world particularly when they are an intensified chatters. Reason being, if they are hooked for the wrong reasons, it could be disastrous for their life physically, morally and mentally. In certain events, one will not only withdraw from the society due to addiction for seeking comfort virtually but however an adverse change in attitude is bound to happen overtime. Depression can also transpire when they are mistreated or bullied or simply when they stuck in a sticky situation in which they want no one else to find out for the fear of being reprimanded.

Therefore, it is important to educate them on the online dangers that are concealed furtively and equip them with proper knowledge on the risk of divulging discreet information to strangers and if possible to get them to agree to adhere to responsible measures like keeping their family members in the loop on their online activities for the sake of their safety.
